Jenny is a member of the UK Register of Expert Witnesses and undertakes expert witness work.

Jenny does not provide reports in the following areas:

Criminal law (any type)
Offending behaviour (risk assessments, profiling, personality assessments or rehabilitation)
Family law (child protection, therapy for offenders, custody or parenting assessments)
Immigration (asylum, deportation or nationality)
Educational (assessments or statements of educational or developmental needs)

Jenny can offer assessments at her Wimpole Street consulting rooms and is also willing to travel. She has experience of working with interpreters and extensive experience of utilising psychometric assessments in assessing a wide range of mental health problems.


The link between work and psychological problems

Depression, anxiety and stress account for more days lost from work than any other single cause, and many people attribute these problems to their past or present working conditions. Of course depression and anxiety may also arise from personal or other stresses, but whatever the cause, these problems can have a significant impact upon performance at work or sickness absence.

Utilising the workplace as a setting for promoting good mental health not only helps to protect the mental and physical well-being of employees, but it also makes good business sense.

In-house training
Training can be provided to both management and staff, individual and groups, and can be tailor-made to your company’s requirements. Examples include:

Managing stress in and outside of the workplace
Coping with fear of public speaking
Maintaining a healthy work/life balance
Dealing with sleep problems and insomnia
Managing conflict within teams
Dealing with bullying and harassment in the workplace

In-house therapy service
Expert psychological assessment and / or therapy for employees on a confidential 'drop-in' basis or via pre-arranged appointment times, either within the workplace or at Jenny’s consulting rooms.

A more strategic service that can assist you in examining the specific challenges your business faces - whether this be high levels of stress, poor motivation within a team or problems with anger management within the workforce - and how to set up and put in place relevant policies.
